Top 5 Beaches to Visit
July 3, 2012 by Steph
I’m a big fan of beaches – I love everything about it – the sun, sand, sea and sea breeze caressing your face. While I’m stuck in a city like Singapore, the only way I can get my fix of perfect beaches is sadly, through looking at pictures online. Here’s a list of beaches I’d love to visit. They all look picture perfect – with crystal clear waters, blue skies and white sands.
5 Beaches to Visit
- Perhentian Islands, Malaysia
- Champagne Beach, Vanuatu
- El Nido, Palawan, Philippines
- Pagudpud, Philippines
- Ngurbloat beach, The Kei Islands, Indonesia

Dive into the crystal blue waters and you’ll be swimming with sea turtles and small sharks!

The beach gets its name because shallow waters appear to fizz at low tide, as if the beach is coated with champagne! The effect is actually caused by gas escaping from volcanic rocks on the sea floor.

It’s hard not to mistake El Nido as paradise, with its towering marble cliffs, white sandy beaches and crystal clear water – there are 50 beaches to discover and a wide variety of wildlife.

White baby-powder-like sand, clear turquoise-blue water and few people – who can ask for a better place to relax?

The soft sand at the Ngurbloat beach has been said to resemble flour or even baby powder – that’s what makes it so comfortable to be on. The location of the beach also makes it perfect to swim in the blue sea as the waves are very calm.
