Sweet & Sour Love
Scientifically yours, Love.

Dearest migLovers,
So, I have been getting more interesting life and love questions and @minutephysics seems to have a good one for us to talk about:
How would you differentiate between love and science?
I have come across this question for a few times during my career and it is such a great thing to share this with you.
As a follower of science and medicine, you would think that I would go for a logical route to answer this. Maybe—or perhaps let’s answer it naturally.
Science matters because it explains a lot of things and it pushes a lot of answers for all of us to function and use all the tools around us in different ways. Having said this, love in science form is secretion of chemicals found in your body to trigger your nerves, and react to those reactions through your outermost view of life.
But that is entirely brainy, isn’t it?
Love is a deep feeling of adoration, a sometimes-unexplainable phenomenon that strikes your heart, body and soul to feel the deepest, resulting to other emotions of extremes.
I honestly cannot fully differentiate some aspects of love and science. They are even a marriage on their own. I keep on going back to what’s natural and the answer couldn’t be anything different.
This feeling – causes your brain to react, that you sometimes go “blind” and do a lot of stupid things (good and bad!). Or it couldn’t make you eat, breathe or sleep. It could make you bubbly, crazy and euphoric. Love gives you that feeling in your tummy that’s kind of ticklish at times. It could make you cry a river, feel nauseous and give you a better (or worse) view of life.
Your brain and heart – are physically and psychologically connected to love.
BUT on the other hand, love is magical. You love when you love. You feel beyond what is physical: a feeling that you cannot explain because words or symptoms cannot even describe it. It has faith and hope. It is spiritual. And these are not what science recognizes.
Regardless of what any of us believe, the important thing is that genuine happiness that comes along with whatever we do, say or feel. We could go on and on explaining everything now but life teaches us something until the day we die. And that is always exciting.
Please post your questions @migazine and follow me @frozenlipz. We will pick and select a post randomly and feature it here on my column. This would be a great way for us to keep the entire journey alive.
migHugs,
